In the UK, Ian is Head of KPMG’s TMT Practice and also Global Lead Partner for a number of KPMG’s most important clients in the sector. Ian also sits on the UK Sales & Marketing Executive reporting to the firm’s ExCo.
Ian joined KPMG in 2001 and has almost 30 years’ experience in client relationship management and advisory roles for the C-Suite of Financial Services, Technology, Media, Telecoms and Professional Services entities.
Prior to joining KPMG, Ian’s background includes the following:
- MBA with electives in Japan, U.S., Netherlands and Belgium.
- Founding member of a finance related start up backed by Goldman Sachs. In this role Ian was responsible for origination of new business with major clients in the U.S., Europe and Japan.
- Within RBS/Natwest Bank, Ian led a variety of new technology projects including a number relating to smartcards and new digital delivery models.
Ian’s primary focus is ensuring KPMG build strong relationships with key individuals in our clients.
