Allister is a corporate tax partner based in our Reading office where he advises businesses on a range of tax issues. He also has a national role leading KPMG’s UK domestic corporate tax business.
He has been advising on tax matters for over 20 years and he has also worked in industry as the Head of International Tax for a FTSE 100 travel company. His clients include large listed clients through to smaller private capital businesses and he has provided advice on international and complex tax issues, tax governance, tax technology processes and reporting changes, transfer pricing and M&A.
Over the last year he has also been responsible for defining our approach to domestic corporate compliance focusing on realising the benefits from technology to make the compliance process simpler, more user-friendly and value adding from our clients’ perspective. He also leads our firm’s response and approach to Making Tax Digital.
