He specialises in international tax issues for complex families and associated asset ownership structures. Gavin represents the UK firm in KPMG’s Global Family Office & Private Client Network, coordinating and overseeing many cross-border projects. His focus on international advice leads him to specialise in matters including domicile, remittance and residence issues, together with the broader governance and succession matters international families commonly face.
Gavin’s client base often seek advice from him on foreign property acquisitions, luxury assets and personal investment holding structures, balancing commercial requirements against broader succession and family considerations. Gavin joined KPMG in 2003, completing his professional accountancy and tax training with the firm. He was listed as one of the ‘Top 35 under 35 Private Client Practitioners’ in 2013 and, again, in 2016.
