Over the last seven years, Peter has performed critical reviews of front to back operating models for risk management and middle office in trading businesses, identifying weaknesses and potential vulnerabilities and recommending actions for remediation. He now regularly advises clients on governance arrangements, including those between Group and Division or Legal Entity level.
Peter has led a number of market risk transformation projects principally related to enhancing the effectiveness of risk management by improving processes, controls and the design of MIS frameworks. He recently supervised the review of the risk transformation plans of the Investment Banking division of a global universal bank.
Prior to joining KPMG in 2007, Peter spent over 12 years in the Investment Banking industry gaining a deep understanding of front to back processes and controls in the trading environment including in respect to business conduct and market abuse risk.
