Svetlana’s international experience combined with both audit and advisory background enables her to advise clients on a wide variety of issues covering equity story preparation, corporate governance, financial reporting processes and preparation for IPO diligence. Svetlana leads regulatory reporting by KPMG as reporting accountant or acts as a capital markets transaction support adviser.
Through her advisory roles Svetlana has gained a strong perspective of what an IPO or public M&A experience feels like for clients, and this has contributed to her responsive and pragmatic approach.
Svetlana joined KPMG in 1997, starting her career with the Moscow office and joining KPMG London in 2000, where she initially had a key role on leading Energy and Natural Resources clients, before transferring to Deal Advisory in 2008.
From 2008 to 2014, Svetlana led KPMG’s Emerging Markets Capital Markets Group and advised many clients on the preparation for and execution of IPOs and debt issuance on the London, New York, Euronext and Hong Kong stock exchanges.
