Kennedy is a Partner in the KPMG Law team and leads the finance services legal team as well as supporting the global group. She has expertise in cutting edge regulatory and business change projects providing advice and support to regulated clients. 

Kennedy advises clients with large regulatory change projects, including the implementation of the EU Benchmarks Regulation and SMCR. She supports clients on the transition from LIBOR benchmark, working with technology and operations experts. 

She has advised banking and investment firms on Brexit projects, helping them map out what the future looks like in terms of regulatory requirements and expectations and supporting alongside KPMG colleagues to implement strategic plans. This included a 14 country strategy for a market leading banking client. 

Kennedy advises on business change projects, including due diligence for acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations including the creation of service companies and group entity rationalisation projects. 

Kennedy also has experience in assessing what licences are required to operate in the UK, alongside the market leading KPMG authorisation team
