Nehal has over 20 years experience developing tailored solutions surrounding financial, operational and information technology (IT) processes & controls. Nehal has worked on over 300 clients across the globe in either an audit or advisory capacity and specialises in helping organisations transform their risk & controls and increase the level of controls maturity in their processes.

Nehal is a key leader of the KPMG working group on the UK response to a proposed ‘SOx’ framework and for future ESG reporting control requirements. He has substantial experience in several functional domains including Finance, IT, Cyber, Procurement, ESG and regulations including SOx, GDPR, UK Corporate Governance Code. Nehal is also driving the ‘Next Generation of Controls’ clients need through unified compliance and control sets and through automation with cloud, data analytics, robotics and artificial intelligence, Nehal is also the global (Powered) controls lead for integrating security & controls across functions and cloud platforms (such as S4, Oracle, ServiceNow, Coupa and others).
