Audit Partner, Head of Audit – Consumer Goods Sector

Nick has spent over 30 years providing audit and related services, primarily to the fast moving consumer goods sector, with a specialism in large multi-listed global groups.

Nick brings a wealth of hands on experience, in particular driving world class audits in the FMCG sector underpinned by leading edge technology. He is currently the Global Partner on a dual listed FTSE 20 group as well as on a large UK Retailer. Nick was previously the Global Partner on 2 other FTSE 20 dual listed FTSE entities.

Until recently, Nick was a member of UK Audit Executive leading Audit Technology for over 4 years. This included working with organisations such as Microsoft, mid-tier technology companies as well as a number of smaller tech-startups. Nick pioneered KPMG’s collaboration with Auticon (an organisation which works with individuals with Autism to place them within the technology sector and use their supreme skills at Data analysis).

In addition to managing global audits, Nick has led many other global projects including non-audit assignments such as M&A (due diligence), bond offerings, restructurings and tax service offerings. Such a client base provides Nick with extensive experience of technology, shared service environments and a variety of global finance delivery models.

Nick has also been on two long term secondments to New York and Budapest and has undertaken KPMG projects in more than 25 countries. He also enjoys skiing and 5-a-side football.
