KPMG in the UK

Thomas is a Director in KPMG’s Assurance practice, where he leads a portfolio of risk and controls engagements, including SOC1 and SOC2 engagements for business outsourcing, payment, and technology-enabled businesses.

Over the past 16 years at KPMG, Thomas has worked across a broad spectrum of assurance and consulting clients. He’s worked on over 100 assurance reporting engagements and led KPMG’s ISO27001 Certification Practice. Thomas has also worked on a number of strategic engagements in the UK payments industry, including leading an evaluation of options and development of the strategy for its future of the UK payments industry and the strategic assessment of risks and solutions, which could facilitate faster deposit pay-out and banking continuity in the event of failure of a large UK retail institution.

He also spent over 2 years in KPMG’s Managed Service business as the Head of Operations Support.

Before joining KPMG, Thomas spent 4 years working in technology functions, developing technology workflow solutions to improve and automate business processes.
