Richard is a Director in our public sector external audit practice leading the Nottingham team.
Richard is a qualified accountant with over 20 year of experience, five as a director. He has spent the bulk of his career working on the external audit of Local Government and NHS organisations, currently leading the audit of large NHS entities and local authorities in the Midlands. He has also spent time on secondment to our quality and risk department and led on the delivery of a range of internal audit and assurance work. As well as these client facing roles Richard is the lead sponsor (public sector) for our work with the KPMG Global Services (KGS) team based in India and is the local sponsor of the KPMG Neurodiversity network.
He is part of the leadership team for our South West, Wales & Midlands public sector external audit team and is a member of CIPFA and ICAS. Richard represents the firm on local public sector finance networks including CIPFA and the HFMA.
