Marina joined KPMG in early 2021 as an Associate Director in the Energy & Mobility Deal Strategy team. Her work focuses mainly on the renewables sector and its opportunities. Prior to joining the team, she worked as Chief Economist at RenewableUK, where she led strategic thinking in the industry and supported the trade association’s advocacy and policy work by engaging renewable energy developers and investors on their next steps in the energy transition. In particular she worked on the offshore wind sector deal proposal and produced the association’s future energy outlook. Prior to that, Marina worked at StorengyUK, producing market analysis and developing commercial strategies on the future of gas storage in the UK energy market. Since joining KPMG she has been supporting various clients formulate their thinking on the future market reform required in the UK to deliver the offshore wind targets and net zero.
