      Isabel an experienced property finance partner and our Head of Finance Law. She advises lenders and borrowers on loans backed by all property asset classes including logistics, industrial, retail, office, hotels, land plots, leisure parks, data centres and residential, in the UK and Europe. Isabel joined KPMG after practising for 12 years at Allen & Overy and 4 years at Hogan Lovells.

      Isabel is also experienced in the field of structured finance. She has managed many securitisations backed by real estate, including residential properties, senior living assets, and data centres. Isabel has advised on both the loans and notes side of CMBS for over a decade and has managed property portfolio acquisitions and real estate-backed enforcements and workouts.

      Isabel is knowledgeable in the area of ESG. She has spearheaded several ESG groups and led several high-profile green financings. Isabel has given talks on sustainability at the Global ABS conference and Oxford University, and authored articles on the topic with Structured Credit Investor, the Journal of International Banking and Finance Law, and The Banker.

      Isabel has spent time on secondment to the commercial real estate desk of a global investment bank, and twice to the alternative finance team of a US investment manager. She forms part of the steering committee for the back-leverage forum of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, a real estate finance industry body. Isabel is fluent in French, Italian and German.
