I’m a Corporate Finance Partner at KPMG, based in Leeds, where I lead transactions and client relationships across Yorkshire and the North of England. I also head KPMG’s national M&A focus on Business Services, covering Waste and Recycling, Infrastructure Services, Housebuilding and Construction, and Building Products across the UK regions.
I’ve been with KPMG for over 30 years and bring decades of experience as a Corporate Finance advisor. Over the years, I’ve built a strong reputation for delivering successful outcomes across both my regional and sectoral focus. I’m proud to lead an award-winning team - in fact, this year alone, the KPMG Deals Team in Yorkshire and the North East, which I lead, received a record 17 nominations at the Yorkshire Insider Dealmaker Awards.
Some of my most recent deal experience includes:
- In infrastructure services: successful deals for Sinewave, Crime and Fire, and Power Electrics
- In Waste and Recycling: the disposals of Silverwoods and Keenan Recycling—working with Private Equity houses Palatine and BGF respectively
- In wider Business Services: the disposal of Unihomes for LDC, generating a 4.8x money multiple for the client, and the disposal of Operam for BGF
- In Housebuilding / Building Products: deals for longstanding clients Henry Boot and Strata Group, as well as the disposal of Brisant Secure for BGF
My previous deal experience includes other award-winning Regional Deals of the Year, such as the sale of Selwood to Arcus Infrastructure Partners, supporting LDC on its investment in 55 Group, and the public-to-private deal for Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) with Macquarie.
