      Christopher Thomson is a Partner at KPMG Law, based in London. He brings extensive experience advising on complex, cross border transactions and projects across the energy sector, with a particular focus on energy transition, renewables, hydrogen and carbon capture. Christopher supports clients across all stages of the deal lifecycle, including acquisitions, project development, joint ventures and regulatory structuring, and is adept at navigating the legal and commercial complexities of highly regulated markets.

      His recent work includes leading legal due diligence and structuring for innovative hydrogen and carbon capture and storage projects, as well as advising on market entry and investment strategies for international energy clients. Christopher is recognised for his collaborative approach and his ability to integrate legal, technical and commercial perspectives to deliver pragmatic, actionable advice. He is also known for providing clear, targeted solutions in fast paced, multi jurisdictional environments and for building strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
