Robin joined KPMG in 2006. He has 35 years corporate tax and transfer pricing experience both in practice and in-house with a global investment bank and one of the leading UK insurance companies.
His experience as a professional adviser includes 4 years in Paris supporting financial service clients. During this period, he was also seconded to the secretariat of the OECD to assist in the redrafting of the reports on Attribution of Profits to Permanent Establishments Part II (Banks), Part III (Global Trading) and Part IV (Insurance).
Robin has participated in a wide range of financial services transfer pricing projects including advance pricing agreements, design and implementation of transfer pricing methodologies and review of international transfer pricing documentation. His clients include the largest multi-national banks, insurance companies and Lloyd’s syndicates.
He has written for a number tax journals and spoken at widely at tax conferences, workshops and seminars. As FS TP Policy lead for KPMG in the UK, Robin has represented KPMG at OECD and HMRC public consultations and participates in the firm’s responses to these consultations from a financial services perspective.
