Irene is the national service line lead for KPMG UK’s Service Assurance Reporting Practice.
Her 15 years’ of experience spans technology risk management and optimisation across first, second, and third lines of defence, including:
- Delivering major SOC1 and SOC2 reviews across banks, asset managers, and business service providers.
- This includes using the ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000, SSAE 18, AAF 01/06 frameworks.
- Irene has successfully assisted many clients who are at the beginning of their assurance journey in using service assurance to accelerate their growth with confidence. They include organisations in the Financial Services, FinTech, Tech and Professional Services sectors.
- She also helps organisations to harmonise their assurance activities – for example across ISO 27001 and SOC2 – to get maximum value.
- Irene also has extensive experience in first and second line technology and operational risk management projects.
