His specialism is corporate tax for privately owned businesses and to supplement this he undertook an 18 month secondment within the Private Client tax team assisting the shareholders of his clients from a personal tax perspective.
During his period within the tax team he was also part of the firms M&A tax practice, undertaking a variety of M&A tax transactions which included due diligence and tax structuring exercises.
Shashi’s clients cover a variety of sectors and range from early stage businesses through to one of the largest family owned businesses in the UK. He now leads the interaction between the London Region Enterprise team and the wider tax practice within London.
Shashi’s day to day duties involve spending time with privately owned businesses helping them enhance their tax profiles for the company and shareholders.
Outside work, Shashi is kept busy by his young son, and lives within a household that is fanatical about everything cricket.
