Mitesh is a Director in KPMG UK’s financial services transfer pricing team with 14 years experience in tax and transfer pricing with the last 12 years spent focussing on transfer pricing for financial services and commodity trading clients.
Mitesh covers the whole life-cycle of transfer pricing issues including transfer model design, disputes, capital management, documentation and implementation with a particular focus on transfer pricing advisory and policy design.
Particular focus areas include:
- Banking – providing advice to inbound and outbound banks including treasury transfer pricing, profit attribution analysis of branches, CATA, management services and dispute resolution.
- Challenger and digital banks – assisting in particular on IP planning, treasury transfer pricing, management services and M&A integration.
- Fintech – assisting FinTech’s in the payments and cryptocurrency space with operating and transfer pricing model design. This includes value chain analysis, IP planning and working with VAT/Corporate Tax colleagues to ensure the establishment of an efficient tax operating model.
- Commodity trading – assisting physical and financial commodity traders across energy, metals/minerals and agricultural commodities across the transfer pricing life-cycle.
