James is an Audit Partner based in our Bristol office who joined KPMG in 1998 after gaining a BSc in Economics from Cardiff University, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and was promoted to Audit Partner in 2014. James has worked with a broad range of clients and sectors including multinational groups listed in the UK and overseas, SME groups and regulated clients working with IFRS, UK GAAP and US SOX. He has experience of working across KPMG on advisory projects including transactions, risk assurance and other assurance work.
As part of KPMGs Enterprise business James leads our South West & Wales Audit team with a focus on privately owned companies across a range of sectors. He also leads our ENR Audit sector nationally across listed and privately owned companies and leads the audits himself of many £billions of clean energy technologies, utilities and energy retail.
