Richard leads the UK asset management audit practice in the UK, operating across the investment management sector including asset managers, private equity, hedge funds and real estate.
He has worked extensively in the real estate sector throughout his career, including lead audit partner for financial times stock exchange (FTSE) 350 groups, and acts for a number of other entities in the Asset Management arena, including private equity and wealth management.
He has considerable experience dealing with complex technical accounting issues as well as reporting and corporate governance requirements. In addition, Richard acted as an expert witness for the financial reporting center (FRC) in a major audit misconduct investigation.
