Suvro is a partner in the Banking Markets practice of KPMG UK and has more than 25 years of international audit and advisory experience in the financial services industry across banking, insurance and asset management and has worked in Singapore, India and London.
He has specialised in Banking for more than 25 years auditing the operations of some of the largest international banks and providing advisory and regulatory advice. He currently leads our advisory relationships on several large banking groups.
Alongside his audit experience, Suvro has extensive experience in risk management and regulations. During 2012 and 2013, Suvro was on secondment to the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards which recommended the need for a new regime, the Senior Manager and Certification Regime along with a large number of other wider recommendations aimed at enhancing financial stability and standards in banking.
Until 2024, Suvro was also a Member of two statutory advisory panels of the Financial Conduct Authority, which has representations from many senior industry leaders from financial services. He has held several leadership roles in the firm, including being a member of the Audit Executive, Head of the UK Banking Audit practice and leading our Assurance and Accounting Advisory practice.
