Simon is part of KPMG’s Regional Financial Services Practice. He has extensive experience providing audit and advisory services to our retail financial sector client base. Simon prides himself on working closely with client management, engaging in regular dialogue and building valued added professional relationships.
Simon maintains primary responsibility for overseeing KPMG’s audit activities for a number of key clients, including a number of regional banks and building societies. In addition, Simon leads the audit of some London based clients, giving him direct access to the FS leadership team.
As well as audit, Simon’s other experience includes transaction IPOs, due diligence assignments, working on a pensions mis-selling review and being seconded to an Internal Audit team at a financial sector organisation. He has also undertaken extensive work on re-engineering processes within finance functions. He has significant experience in dealing with clients and the PRA on regulatory issues. Additionally, he has led a number of IFRS implementation advisory projects and is a key part of our IFRS retail financial sector team.
