Yuriy has been leading Financial Restructuring practice at KPMG in Ukraine since 2016. In addition to restructuring services, Yuriy provides advisory services related to both receiving finance, primarily from international financial institutions and banks, and management of non-performing debts (NPLs).
Yuriy worked in banking sector for more than 12 years, specializing in corporate financing, deal structuring, and restructuring. Before joining KPMG, he worked in UniCredit Group, a dynamic international banking group in Ukrainian banking sector. During his last three years with the bank, Yuriy was actively involved in corporate debt restructuring, and was a member of creditor committees in key cases in the market representing UniCredit Group’s interests.
Yuriy has deep knowledge of international and local tools and opportunities employed in corporate debt restructuring. He worked very closely with legal and financial advisers, as well as other lenders to find best solutions for all parties in the process of restructuring.
With extensive experience in deal structuring and restructuring, Yuriy is able to provide useful advice on how to ensure the best results in managing non-performing debts.
