Anamaria Ciobanu brings together over 20 years of academic excellence in Finance and more than 10 years of hands‑on experience in business valuation, including five years shaping KPMG Advisory’s Valuation practice.
She joined KPMG in 2014 as a Manager, bringing with her a strong academic foundation and extensive experience in finance and valuation, and later became an Associate Partner in Deal Advisory. Since then, Anamaria has played a pivotal role in developing and strengthening the firm’s Valuation & Business Modeling Services practice, contributing to complex engagements across asset and business valuation, purchase price allocations, intangible asset valuation, financial instruments, corporate finance, financial modelling and capital markets.
Throughout her distinguished academic career, Anamaria has helped shape the field of Finance through teaching, research, and active involvement in developing valuation methodologies and professional standards.
