FINANCE & ACCOUNTING MANAGED SERVICES MANAGER

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the day-to-day activities of Managed Service engagements
  • Plan activities related to development of work program and execution of Technology Consulting projects primarily focused on Managed Service Area
  • Review clients’ processes and controls against leading practice and industry frameworks, identify gaps in design and execution, and communicate issues and recommendations to engagement leads and client management
  • Contribute to Technology Consulting knowledge base and internal practice development initiatives
  • Supervise and provide performance management for Supervisors working on assigned engagement opportunities for assigned clients
  • Support engagement leader through taking the lead in Business Development initiatives, proposal drafting, discussion with clients, periodic internal discussions with the team, and complying with the engagement management, quality and risk management standards and processes applicable to Technology  Consulting Services;
  • Support proposal preparation and business development activities by assisting in the identification of new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing/presenting proposals
  • Initiate understanding of other Technology Consulting services and other service lines’ offering to facilitate cross-functional selling
  • Promote an environment conducive for collaboration and agile working;
  • Apply KPMG’s Advisory methodologies for process analysis and project management to ensure a consistent approach to evidence gathering
  • Ensure the team’s compliance with KPMG Policies and Standards throughout delivery of engagement
  • Participate in Technology Consulting business planning and in improving the overall profitability of the service line
  • Write and present clear and concise reports and presentation containing meaningful observations and recommendations to clients, including documentation of procedures performed and conclusions reached related to projects
  • Provide oversight and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project plans, and performance management while contributing to industry and regulatory publications, writing professional and thought leadership articles, and speaking at related conferences and seminars
  • Perform a thorough review of staff (i.e., Supervisor and Associates) deliverables/outputs, and actively imparts knowledge pertinent to the engagement scope and its delivery. Accountability of quality in terms outputs/deliverables rests with the Engagement Manager
  • Lead project management activities including: development and management of project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, and quality

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance courses with at least 10 years in the industry
  • CPA is not a requirement but an advantage
  • Experienced cross functional partnerships to drive project delivery/execution
  • Background in shared service is an advantage
  • Proven skills in leadership, project management and organizational structure
  • Strong verbal and oral communication & customer facing skills
  • Goal-oriented and methodical person with logical approach in addressing issues and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to solve urgent matters and can work under pressure
