Ronald Koorn

Based on my multidisciplinary business, technical and audit background and 25+ years of experience, I research and advise (semi) governmental organizations with improving their information management, business operations and IT systems. Hereby I focus mainly on information-intensive organizations, such as public service organizations, educational institutions, clearing houses and sector organizations, inspectorates/supervisors and (IT) service providers. With my experience I prefer to help my clients organizations with set-up and control issues, such as governance, cost/benefit, chain cooperation, information security (BIO, ISO 27001, NEN 7510), electronic signature, privacy (AVG, Wpg, Wjsg), etc. Furthermore, I worked for two years in the US (San Francisco/Silicon Valley) in the e-business field, which I use for an effective and efficient deployment of online and digital chain applications in public-private projects. Annually, I teach at two post-Master's courses. I am also editor-in-chief of Compact Magazine, a quarterly publication on the application and mastery of information and technology (www.compact.nl).
