Gijs de Graaff

Gijs worked for the KPMG valuations practice between 1999 and 2005. In 2016, he re-joined KPMG within the Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services, having held various finance roles within Shell for 11 years.

His experience includes accounting and reporting of complex deals under both IFRS, Dutch GAAP and US GAAP. He also has extensive experience in impairments and other accounting valuations issues, conversions of accounting policies in acquisitions and in the new lease standard IFRS 16. Partly because of his broad experience in various industries such as energy & natural resources, office supplies, retail and telecom, Gijs is in an excellent position to provide tailored accounting advice.
