Margriet is Senior Manager within the Financial Risk Management advisory practice. She has experience in advising clients on governance, laws and regulations and AFM/DNB supervision. Within FRM, Margriet has a lead role in governance. Before joining KPMG, Margriet worked for many years at DNB as a supervisor where she conducted suitability tests, among other things. She also worked at PGGM, where in her role as shareholder she was discussion partner to directors of listed companies in the Netherlands and the US on ESG issues. She understands better than anyone how important good governance is for corporates and their stakeholders.
