Petra is an audit partner with KPMG in Amstelveen, the Netherlands and has over 30 years of experience working with globally operating and listed audit and advisory clients, in various industries (including semiconductors, chemicals, consumer products and airlines). She has a global technical role for U.S. listed companies and capital markets transactions and has an auditor license in three jurisdictions. She lived and worked in the United States and Mexico. She currently is a member of the Board of the KPMG Cooperative, the shareholder of KPMG in the Netherlands. She also co-chairs the Netherlands chapter of Women Corporate Directors, a global network of female board directors, whose mission it is to increase women’s representation on and inspire visionary boards worldwide.
She also is the co-chair of KPMG RAAD, the board programme for non-executives and executives. The programming is based on a number of pillars and reaches the participants through an on-line website, magazine (twice a year) and a number of events in spring and fall. These events vary from intimate round tables to larger meetings like our Summer Session.
