David Capocci, Managing Partner
David Capocci is the Managing Partner of KPMG Luxembourg, now serving his second term. With 20 years of experience in private equity and real estate, David is dedicated to excellence and making a positive impact. Passionate about driving positive change and enhancing customer experiences, he believes client centricity is the key to success. As an advocate for pragmatic and efficient solutions, David empowers the team at KPMG to continuously improve. Before becoming KPMG’s Managing Partner, David was the Head of Alternative Investments. He contributed significantly to the growth of the firm advising asset managers and alternative investment funds in redefining their strategies. Additionally, he has extensive experience helping private equity and real estate players establish a foothold in Europe.
Valeria Merkel, Head of Audit
Valeria is a Partner, Head of Audit and a member of the Executive Team at KPMG Luxembourg. With over 20 years of experience in audit engagements in asset management for both traditional and alternative investments, she focuses on the audit priorities of growth, people and business transformation and on maintaining our high level of service quality to our clients.
Antoine Badot, Head of Tax
Antoine is a Partner, Head of Tax and People Strategy and a member of the Executive Team. With over 20 years of experience, he has expert knowledge in the international tax structuring of regulated and unregulated funds and aims to enhance our Tax practice. He believes in trust, empowerment, and curiosity to foster innovation and prioritizes team spirit and cohesion to meet client needs. Antoine is instrumental in the design of our firm-wide people strategy, ensuring that KPMG remains the clear choice for our people and for future new joiners of the firm.
Annick Breton, Head of Consulting
Annick is a Partner in Advisory at KPMG Luxembourg and a member of the Executive Team, focusing on growing our strategic consulting service area sustainably and successfully. Her expertise spans the fund industry – both for traditional and alternative asset classes – with a specialization on the asset servicing and management company, AIFM and depositary bank activities. She specializes in management consulting projects such as post-merger integrations, business migration, target operating model design and execution.
Stanislas Chambourdon, Growth and Strategy
Stanislas is KPMG Luxembourg’s Partner and a member of the Executive Team. For over 10 years he has been leading the company’s Banking and Insurance sectors and has been the lead engagement partner for several large banks in audit and advisory projects, notably on transformation and the customer journey, the ECB agenda and risk and data management. He also focuses on KPMG Luxembourg's strategy and growth, building and maintaining strong connections within the wider KPMG network. Stanislas always strives to ensure that the right solutions are applied to the challenges experienced by financial stakeholders and prioritizes client centricity in all the firm's endeavors.
