May 2020: Tim Denley has been appointed as the Head of KPMG Lighthouse for the Asia Pacific region.

KPMG Lighthouse is KPMG’s Global Center of Excellence for data-driven technology, bringing together more than 14,000 experts – including data scientists and engineers – across 17 regional hubs in strategic markets. These teams work with KPMG colleagues around the world to help clients get a clear view of their data and explore ways to turn these insights into value.

Denley has significant experience in leading innovation and technology transformation projects across a wide range of industries, with a focus on advanced technologies ranging from data and analytics, to blockchain and artificial intelligence.

He has been based in Japan for the past 13 years and has built extensive experience across the Asia Pacific region. Most recently, he led the growth of KPMG Lighthouse in the country and has been serving as the Chief Solutions Officer of KPMG Ignition in Tokyo.

Denley commented: “Data has been described as the greatest resource of the twenty-first century with its untapped potential to generate value for organizations. I am excited about KPMG Lighthouse’s mission to help clients on this journey, particularly in a region like Asia Pacific, the home of established and emerging technology players.”
