KPMG Recognized As Top Insurance Risk Consulting Firm

Insurance Risk magazine has bestowed its 2014 Insurance Risk Award for “Best Consulting Firm” on the member firms of KPMG International. The “Insurance Risk Awards” are in recognition of excellence in risk management within the insurance sector. The awards are created to reward “innovative thinking and ground-breaking approaches to solving the risk management challenges that face the industry”.

Dealmakers Monthly Magazine Recognized KPMG for Global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Organization of the Year in the 2014 DealMakers Global Awards. This is the firm’s third global AML award this year, reinforcing KPMG’s leading market position both globally and locally in this field.

Mike Nolan, Global Partner-in-Charge for KPMG's Risk Consulting Services, has been named to Consulting Magazine's (PDF 747 KB) list of Top 25 Consultants for 2014. Excellence in Consulting: Corporate Responsibility/Humanitarian

KPMG’s US member firm, along with the City of New York, took home the Corporate Responsibility/Humanitarian award for their work on Hurricane Sandy Relief. As a result of the team’s work, contractors were able to make 2,129 homes habitable in five months, with documented savings of US$10.4 million to the city as a result of identified instances of fraud, waste and abuse. Now in its third year, the Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF) Awards are given to projects that best illustrate how consulting teams add value to their clients’ organizations and society at large.
