On 29 June 2023, the Irish Revenue Commissioners (“Revenue”) deferred the Irish FATCA and CRS filing deadline for the 2022 reporting period from 30 June 2023 to 14 July 2023 due to filing issues with Revenue Online Service (“ROS”).  Kevin Cohen of our FATCA team explains below.

Filing and confirmation

Revenue advised that customers can continue to file their FATCA and CRS returns via ROS and will receive an on screen acceptance message. However, customers may experience a delay in receiving confirmations in their Revenue Record inbox. If this is the case, customers are asked to not re-file impacted FATCA and/or CRS returns unless they have not received the relevant confirmations by 7 July.
