With more than 24 years of experience at KPMG, Orla leads the firm’s tax practice in Ireland and sits on the Board of KPMG Ireland. She is recognised for advising a broad spectrum of Irish-headquartered and multinational clients on all aspects of tax, with deep expertise in international tax structuring, intellectual property planning, cross-border financing, exit planning, profit repatriation, and optimised tax strategies for supply chain management.
Orla is also a senior member of the M&A tax team, managing complex due diligence projects, providing pre-deal structuring guidance, and developing robust post-deal integration tax plans. She has extensive experience supporting Irish groups operating internationally, as well as multinationals with substantial Irish operations.
In addition to her advisory roles, Orla manages the corporation tax compliance requirements of several large clients and is highly skilled in tax accounting, including the preparation of global group consolidations for major multinational organisations. Orla also leads the Irish/US tax corridor, regularly engaging with multinational companies in the United States.
