Explore Programme - FAQs
The existing KPMG in Singapore graduate associate programmes are function-specific and role-based. Whereas KPMG’s Explore Programme offers a 2-year rotational journey across all 3 functions - audit, tax, and advisory. This provides associates with the opportunity to develop core, diverse, and transferable business skill sets in just two years.
Yes, you may indicate your preferred function for the rotations, as well as for placement after the end of the programme. However, specific rotations and placement will be dependent on your performance and business’ needs and are not guaranteed. If your interest is limited to a particular role or function, do apply for the specialised track roles here instead.
As the 2-year workplan is specially curated and tailored to offer a holistic experience for our Associates, we would highly discourage dropping out in the midst of the programme as it can be disruptive to your overall learning experience and exposure.
Of course not! We adopt a performance-based approach. Your progression will be considered based on your performance, coupled with relevant experience and skill sets acquired.
After graduating from the 2-year programme, you will be placed in a specialised track within the audit, tax, or advisory practice to further deepen your skill sets and experience. While your preference will be taken into consideration, eventual placement will be subjected to your performance and business needs.
Unfortunately, not! The Explore Programme is a 2-year programme, and all graduates will be placed in a role within one of our functions after completing the programme to embark on the rest of their career journey.
