KPMG in Singapore takes home the ‘Singapore Tax Advisory Firm of the Year’ and ‘Singapore Tax Disputes Advisory Firm of the Year’ awards at the ITR APAC Tax Awards 2024. The continued recognition from ITR highlights KPMG in Singapore's ongoing dedication to providing top-tier tax solutions for clients.

KPMG in Singapore was ranked a Tier 1 firm in the ITR World Tax 2025 rankings for Tax, Transfer Pricing and Tax Controversy. The Tier 1 rankings highlight the firm's unwavering commitment to excellence and providing exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. This year's ITR ranking covers the most effective tax practitioners in the world, involving research and feedback from more than 29,000 clients and 5,300 practitioners globally.

KPMG has been recognised as a Champion of Good by the NVPC, the highest form of accolade with a validity of three years. The recognition highlights KPMG’s social impact and its influence on stakeholders to drive purposeful outcomes. KPMG’s contributions include investments to strengthen innovation in financial services and ESG, as well as in other areas such as workforce training, competitive salary enhancements and the adoption of leading-edge technology. KPMG has been recognised as one of Singapore’s top three firms in the accounting and financial management as well as consulting sectors, according to votes from over 11,600 local students and graduates in Singapore's longest-running annual national careers survey. Overall, KPMG ranked #36 among 100 companies across 16 sectors. The Singapore’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers ranking is formed by student votes from universities across the country, as gathered via the annual Singapore Graduate Barometer.

KPMG’s Global Values Week, a global event engaging over 270,000 people across KPMG’s global network, was recognised by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) with the prestigious Gold Quill Awards recognising excellence in two categories: internal communications and employee engagement. IABC's Gold Quill Awards have celebrated strategic communication achievements on a global scale for over four decades. This accolade signifies the significant impact of the Global Values Week, where KPMG fostered connections and collaboration among global colleagues. Through this programme, KPMG celebrated its culture and values, reaffirming our commitment to cultivating an inclusive environment.

KPMG has received top rankings across multiple categories in Source’s client perceptions study – Perception of Risk Firms 2023. These categories are: First Choice in Financial Risk, First Choice in Third Party Assurance, Client Advocacy in Risk and Competitive Resilience in Risk Consulting. According to buyers of risk advisory services who participated in the study, KPMG is also among the top scorers for quality in cyber security, and for aided awareness in risk.

KPMG in Singapore was announced as a winner in the Security category at the Microsoft Singapore Partner of the Year Awards 2023. This is a recognition of the firm’s expertise in providing end-to-end innovative security solutions for its clients across industries based on Microsoft Security capabilities in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.

KPMG was recognised for its breadth of client use cases with a comprehensive focus spanning returns on investment (ROI) articulation through future investment options. The report provides chief information security officers (CISOs) insight into cyber risk quantification solutions offered by 15 notable vendors and research on business value, market dynamics and top use cases in the market. Of the 15 firms profiled, KPMG was the only services firm identified as a Large Vendor.

KPMG has received one of the top three highest scores in the strategy and current offering categories of The Forrester Wave Customer Experience (CX) Strategy Consulting Practices Q4 2022 evaluation, published in December 2022. The report states: “KPMG’s superior CX practice vision incorporates clients’ current needs, such as driving profitable growth, with future needs, like developing CX strategies to leverage the Metaverse.”

KPMG in Singapore was ranked a Tier 1 firm in the International Tax Review's (ITR) World Tax 2023 and World Transfer Pricing (TP) 2023. The Tier 1 rankings are a reflection of the firm’s long-term track record in the market, as well as depth of resources, experience and range of specialism. The ITR ranking covers the most effective tax and TP practitioners in the world, reaching out to more than 11,000 clients and 3,600 practitioners globally for feedback. 

KPMG clinched the prestigious title of Risk Management Consultant of the Year at the Asia Risk Awards 2022 for its outstanding work in managing and mitigating risk, amid shifting regulatory requirements and a growing focus on ESG. The Asia Risk Awards recognises excellence and innovation among firms and individuals in Asia’s derivatives markets and risk management.

KPMG in Singapore was crowned Singapore Tax Firm of the Year for its outstanding achievements and wide-ranging expertise in tax. The Singapore firm also clinched the Tax Disputes Firm of the Year award and an Impact Deal of the Year award for its work with KPMG in Indonesia on a high-level merger project, which required new and innovative approaches to deal strategy and value.

KPMG won the Silver award in the Best Soft Skills Training Programme category at the Employee Experience Awards 2022. The award recognises the firm’s efforts in supporting employees with skills training. The firm's employees are provided opportunities to hone their skills in areas, such as leadership development, business networking, growth mindset and coaching, on various platforms including the firm’s in-house learning platform KPMG Business School.

KPMG took home the Gold award for Best In-House Learning Academy at the Employee Experience Awards 2022. Winners in this category were selected for their expertise and success in building a robust infrastructure of learning programmes to meet the diverse needs of employees. KPMG’s in-house learning and development platform, KPMG Business School, provides functional and technical in-house training support for employees, along with an expanded digital library of training content on leadership, professional and future skills.

Gartner, an analyst house, has recognised KPMG as a leader in its 2022 Magic Quadrant for Data and Analytics Service Providers for the sixth year in a row. The achievement is a recognition of the strengths and capabilities of KPMG Lighthouse Center of Excellence for Data, Analytics and AI, which brings together the expertise of member firms to enable the digital transformation journey of businesses and organisations.

KPMG has been recognised as a Leader in The Forrester WaveTM: Data Management Service Providers Q4 2021 report, which scored our member firms highly on data governance, training and literacy, data integration, community and business impact offerings.

The report shared that organisations seeking a partner with a strong methodology in data processes and decision-making would find KPMG's approach "exceptional", underpinned by unique and pragmatic strategy and services. It added that the firm's professionals prioritised results and culture as a culmination of a true data relationship.

Global alliance SAS has named KPMG its 2021 SAS Regional Partner of the Year for Europe, Middle East and Africa. The award is a recognition of KPMG’s continued collaboration in delivering advanced risk, fraud, compliance and customer intelligence solutions. These efforts have helped clients to achieve technology modernisation, business enablement, cost efficiency and IT operational agility.

KPMG has been named Appian’s 2021 Global Transformation Partner of the Year for continually developing Appian skills and capabilities and helping to deliver automation offerings to KPMG firms’ clients. As an Appian Global Strategic Business Partner, KPMG works closely with the company to provide intelligence automation solutions to clients across the globe. The alliance also develops a wide range of integrated service offerings to advance the digital transformation of businesses and drive operational efficiency.

KPMG has won the ServiceNow Global Industry Solutions – Healthcare Partner of the Year award for 2021. The award recognises the firm's outstanding track record in delivering significant client business value, outcomes and industry-leading innovation in the healthcare space. It also demonstrates the strong abilities of KPMG and ServiceNow in creating critical capabilities tailored to the healthcare industry, especially in realising front-office and back-office digital transformation and preparing clients for a digital-first future.

KPMG received a total of 16 accolades for its outstanding and wide-ranging expertise in tax at the ITR Asia Pacific Tax Awards 2021. In addition to being named Tax Litigation and Disputes Firm of the Year, Lewis Lu, Head of Tax & Legal at KPMG Asia Pacific and KPMG China, also won the Tax Practice Leader of the Year award. KPMG firms in China, Hong Kong (SAR) China, Singapore and Taiwan also achieved Tax Disputes Firm of the Year awards for their strong and impactful work. 

Three projects by KPMG firms in Australia and India were recognised for their influential, innovative and impactful work in the region. The projects required sophisticated advice to navigate the demands of public corporations, high-profile mergers, cross-border transactions, first-of-its-kind business lines and highly regulated sectors.

KPMG has been recognised in the 2021 IDC MarketScape report for its pedigree as a large-scale advisory and IT implementation services provider across several countries in the Asia/Pacific region. IDC noted that this strength, among others, enabled KPMG to lead complex regional automation initiatives and scale automation adoption among its customers.

KPMG has been recognised for taking a business-led, technology-enabled approach to helping transform companies in areas most critical to their ongoing sustainable success. The IDC MarketScape report cited that buyers rate KPMG highly for its ability to meet project timelines and handle changes in project scope, as well as its thought leadership on the Microsoft platform.

KPMG was named a leading AI consulting firm in IDC’s global report on the AI services market. IDC highlighted that improving operational efficiency remains a critical business priority, and that the ability to achieve business outcomes was the most critical attribute to enable vendors' implementation of successful AI services.

KPMG has achieved the top score in an international study of brand recognition among energy & resources consulting firms conducted by Source Global Research. It ranked highest for aided awareness in the global survey of 238 clients and prospects. The research is seen as a key measurement of brand recognition, with KPMG steadily rising from ninth in 2018 to third in 2020 and first in 2021.

Receiving the highest scores in the Breadth of Services, Execution Roadmap, Market Vision, and Market Approach criteria, KPMG also excelled in wide technology deployment and process discovery at scale. Forrester Research's Q3 2020 report cited “KPMG's strategy expertise gets backing from broad capabilities to support Digital Process Automation.”

KPMG was the clear winner in 15 categories at the ITR Asia Tax Awards 2020, including Singapore Tax Firm of the Year 2020. KPMG was also announced as the Asia Tax Firm of the Year, achieving widespread national and regional success as well as being awarded Asia Tax Innovator of the Year.

This is the second year in a row that KPMG has been named to the Leaders category. The report highlighted KPMG’s commitment to helping its clients innovate and transform their organisations - from improving performance and optimising risk, to restructuring operations and seizing new growth opportunities.

Noted among 13 service providers standing out as "significant leaders", KPMG member firms strengthen their collective position and obtain the highest scores possible in the criteria of current partner ecosystem, business & advisory services and analytics & AI services.

The Peak Tech Laureates pay tribute to the game-changers in digital innovation and transformation. KPMG was recognised for its excellence in two categories, namely Cybersecurity Award of the Solutions Category and Human Capital Management Award of the Solutions Category.

The Consulting Firm of the Year award recognizes KPMG for being a leading player when it comes to understanding regulators’ views as well as those of the entities we regulate. On top of this, KPMG also received the ‘One to Watch' for KYC Shared Ledger award and a commendation for ‘Best Solution – Regulatory Change Management’.

The International Tax Review (ITR)’s Asia Tax Awards saw KPMG with the most number of awards. KPMG in Singapore won the National Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year and the National Tax Disputes & Litigation Firm of the Year. The awards celebrate the best tax and transfer pricing work across 20 countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The accolade from SAS, a business, analytics and data services company, is significant for KPMG as we increasingly offer clients KPMG’s analytical and delivery capabilities supported by a range of best-in-class technology from our solutions partners. In 2017, KPMG and SAS launched its first cloud-based IFRS9 and stress testing RegTech solution in Asia, and are working to on-board this onto KPMG’s Risk as a Service platform globally.

This is Euromoney’s 13th year of this global survey and this year the respondents totaled 2,418 representing 1,218 firms in 75 countries.

For the second consecutive year, KPMG International will be honored by Insurance Risk Magazine with its 2015 Insurance Risk Award for "Best Consulting Firm".

Insurance Risk Magazine’s Insurance Risk Awards recognize excellence in risk management within the insurance sector. The magazine aims to reward "innovative thinking and ground-breaking approaches to solving the risk management challenges that face the industry."

KPMG International has won two prestigious 2015 International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) Awards, presented in London on 1 October 2015. For the fourth consecutive year, it was awarded “Sustainable Firm of the Year,” and for a third consecutive year, “Social Media Networking Champion of the Year Global.”

The ACQ Global Awards are the single largest program of their kind in the market. This year, the ACQ Global Awards have recognized KPMG’s network of firms in the following categories for Anti-Money Laundering:

Insurance Risk magazine has bestowed its 2014 Insurance Risk Award for “Best Consulting Firm” on the member firms of KPMG International, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services.

KPMG International won an IT Services Marketing Association Award recognizing the WEFLIVE campaign for a second consecutive year. This year, KPMG was given the Gold Award for the ‘Optimizing Online and Offline Marketing’ category. The award recognized KPMG for innovation of the WEFLIVE service; a strong execution of the integrated marketing campaign across multiple teams in our network; and for positive business results, which surpassed the objectives for this year’s campaign.

KPMG International received a Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award for Best of Social Media Marketing.
