      Stationary Meeting

On 20 May 2026, KPMG in Poland will host an international conference to discuss a wide range of topics related to managing the tax function in the changing regulatory and technological environment.

The aim of the conference will be to provide strategic insights into the future of tax compliance and showcase how organizations can leverage digital transformation to navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Future tax compliance will rely more and more on real time reporting and exchange of increasing amounts of data with tax authorities, which will prompt earlier decision making and earlier, upfront identification of tax issues on the taxpayers’ side. As our speakers outline: the debate between outsourcing and insourcing is no longer just about cost - it is about capability, control, and the ability to scale innovation. And these factors are equally important to businesses either with a cross-border exposure or dealing with various local lines of business.

Needless to say that for the discussion to be complete, we need to recognize the current technology trend and the impact AI will have over the tax function and why it is often referred to as the game changer in taxes.

The conference will also offer the opportunity to share experiences from a regional level and gain a broad picture of how changes in tax compliance are playing out across several countries.
