      What is consulting for the energy sector and why is it so important?

      Advising the broadly understood energy sector covers many areas of law, e.g., energy law, company law, real estate law, administrative law, and environmental law, which affect the activities of entities in the energy sector. Thus, legal services for the energy sector include regulatory advice, advice on PPAs, as well as support for investment processes and M&A transactions in the energy sector.

      Challenges faced by companies with regard to the energy transformation

      The legal and regulatory environment of the energy sector is becoming more and more complex and demanding. The activities of the energy sector are regulated by EU and national laws. Among challenges mentioned should be an incorrect implementation of European Union on the national ground or the lack of such implementation. In addition, legal regulations often fail to keep up with the changing reality, blocking the possibility of developing new technologies.

      Entities operating on the energy market face numerous obligations imposed on them by law, the violation of which may have far-reaching and severe consequences for them, in particular in the form of administrative fines or loss of the right to perform a certain activity.
