Call is now open for funding of investments in energy storage facilities cooperating with existing RES installations. This is an opportunity to reduce energy costs, increase operational stability, and make your company independent from market fluctuations – with non-repayable support in the form of grants of up to 50%.
The call budget is PLN 78,7 million, and applications can be submitted until 31 March 2026.

Programme information
On 3 March 2026, a call for proposal for applications for funding of projects from the European Regional Development Fund under the regional programme “European Funds for Podkarpackie 2021-2027” was launched.
- Beneficiaries:
- SMEs and large enterprises operating in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (pursuing business activity for at least 12 months prior to the date of application submission).
- Entities engaged in the generation and supply of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning systems (activity according to PKD [Polish Classification of Business Activities] section 35) are not eligible for funding.
- Funding-eligible activities:
- Construction/expansion/purchase and installation of electricity and/or heat storage facilities for existing RES installations, including connection to the grid. Smart energy management systems may be included as an additional element of the project.
- The storage facility must be connected to an already existing (completed and operational) RES installation.
- The power of electricity storage facilities eligible for funding cannot exceed 1 MWe. For storage facilities implemented as part of RES installations, their power should not exceed the total power of all operating units included in the installation.
- The capacity of electricity or heat storage facilities should be adjusted to the production of electricity or heat in RES devices. The capacity of the electricity storage facility should not exceed 1.5 times the power of the RES installation it is supplied by.
- Storage facilities should meet only the company’s own needs.
- The storage facility must receive at least 75% of the energy from the connected renewable energy installation annually.
- Support is excluded for storage facilities operating for “off-grid” installations.

- 03.03 – 31.03.2026, until 3:00 p.m.
- Call allocation:
- The budget of the call is PLN 78.7 million.
- Types of support:
- Non-repayable grant up to 30%, plus 20 percentage points for small enterprises and 10 percentage points for medium-sized enterprises.
- Additional conditions:
- Minimum eligible expenditure – PLN 20,000; maximum eligible expenditure – not applicable.
