      In 2021, 446.6 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Poland - 4.3% more than in 2020. The increase in registrations also applied to vans (+23.9%), trucks (+58.1%) and trailers and semi-trailers, which were registered nearly 95% more y/y. The dynamic growth rate is maintained by the alternative drive passenger car segment. In 2021, the number of registrations of cars of this type in Poland amounted to 152 thousand and was 82% higher than in 2020. A total of 437.4 thousand vehicles was produced in Poland throughout 2021, presenting a 3.1% drop y/y and continuing a downward trend that has been observed for 4 years in a row. The production of passenger cars decreased the most - by 7.2%.

      In total, new passenger car registrations in Poland rose by 4. 3% to 446.6 thousand in 2021. Institutional customers registered 331 thousand vehicles in the discussed period - an increase of 6.4% y/y. In the individual customer segment, 115.6 thousand cars were registered in the period, 1.4% less than in 2020.
