The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management has announced a call for applications to support investments improving energy efficiency in large and medium-sized companies. The budget of the programme is PLN 184 million, and the co-financing includes, m.in, energy modernisation of company buildings, increasing the energy efficiency of production processes, increasing the energy efficiency of utility circulation systems in plants, transport routes and auxiliary systems, heat recovery systems from industrial processes, lighting, installation of RES equipment with energy storage, installation of equipment for the production, storage and transport of renewable hydrogen. Applications can be submitted until February 27, 2026.

Program Information
On November 28, 2025 the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management opened a call for applications for co-financing investments that will contribute to improving the energy efficiency of large and medium-sized enterprises.
For whom:
Large enterprises (other than energy service providers acting on behalf of enterprises),
Medium-sized enterprises.
For what:
Energy modernization of company buildings,
Increasing the energy efficiency of production processes,
Increasing the energy efficiency of utility circulation systems in plants (e.g. cold or hot water system, compressed air system or ventilation system), transport routes,
Increasing the energy efficiency of auxiliary systems for production processes, including, for example, boiler rooms (with fuel other than RES not being supported), heat recovery systems from industrial processes or lighting,
Installation of RES devices with energy storage facilities (additional element),
Installation of equipment for the production, storage, transport of renewable hydrogen (additional element).
Call allocation:
The budget of the call is over PLN 184 million.
Types of support (it is obligatory to finance the project from the following two sources):
Preferential loan with investment bonus
Co-financing intensity: up to 85% of eligible costs; in the case of projects implemented in the "project finance" formula, up to 72.25% of eligible costs,
Redemption: up to 30% of the loan for large enterprises and up to 49% of the loan for medium-sized enterprises; The maximum intensity of the redemption depends on: a) the final energy savings achieved – improvement of energy efficiency, b) productivity of the supported installation – RES installation, In the case of projects involving tasks in the area of improving energy efficiency and RES, the amount of the bonus will be calculated separately for each type of task.
Financing period: no longer than 15 years counted from the date of planned disbursement of the first tranche of the loan.
Period of capital repayment: up to 12 months counted from the date of completion of the project.
Loan on market terms (not constituting state aid)
Co-financing intensity: at least 15% of eligible costs; in the case of projects implemented in the "project finance" formula, up to 12.75% of eligible costs,
Redemption: none,
Interest rate on the loan: interest rate at the level of the reference rate set in accordance with the European Commission's communication on the revision of the method for setting reference and discount rates; interest on interest paid on an ongoing basis in quarterly periods, the first repayment at the end of the quarter; calendar interest following the quarter in which the first tranche of funds was paid,
Financing period: no longer than 15 years counted from the date of planned disbursement of the first tranche of the loan.
Period of capital repayment: up to 12 months counted from the date of completion of the project.
Additional conditions:
The scope of activities in relation to buildings, technical equipment or technological installations and processes must result from energy audits.
In terms of improving the energy efficiency of buildings, the minimum threshold of required primary energy savings is 30% (except for monuments), while for technological lines/processes – 10%.
Applications must be submitted from November 28, 2025 to February 27, 2026.
