On 13 October 2025, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (Polish: Narodowy Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej) announced amendments to the ‘NaszEauto’ aid program, taking effect mid-October.

Background

The modifications seek to increase the availability of electric cars for institutions that have not yet been able to benefit from the support, thus significantly contributing to the development of the electromobility market in Poland.

The updated ‘NaszEauto’ program will also cover the purchase, lease or long-term rental of zero-emission vehicles in the following categories:

  • M2 (designed for carrying passengers, with more than eight seats, in addition to the driver's seat, and a maximum mass not exceeding 5 tonnes, e.g., small buses) and
  • N1 (designed and constructed for the carriage of goods, with a maximum total mass not exceeding 3.5 tonnes, e.g., delivery vehicles).

Beneficiaries

The changes make it possible for new groups of beneficiaries to participate in the program. These include, among others:

1) For M2 and N1-category vehicles:

  • sole traders,
  • non-government organizations,
  • national parks,
  • state budgetary units performing care and educational tasks or educational activities within the universal education system, or medical activities carried out under contract with the Polish National Health Fund,
  • state-owned legal persons performing care and educational tasks or educational activities within the universal education system, or medical activities carried out under contract with the Polish National Health Fund,
  • local government units and their associations in the field of care and educational institutions or those conducting educational activities within the public education system or conducting medical activities under contract with the Polish National Health Fund.

2) For M1-category vehicles:

  • natural persons,
  • sole traders,
  • national parks.

Amount of support

The support will amount to:

  • a maximum of PLN 600 thousand for M2-category vehicles,
  • a maximum of PLN 70 thousand for N2-category vehicles,
  • a maximum of PLN 40 thousand for M1-category vehicles.

The program is valued at more than PLN 1.1 billion, with funds allocated from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Deadlines

The call has already started. Applications can be submitted until 30 April 2026 or until the funds are exhausted. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis, as long as the funds are available. As of 7 October 2025, 16,314 applications valued at over PLN 500 million have been submitted.
