Abbas is the Head of Advisory at KPMG in Pakistan.

Abbas has been instrumental in advising federal and provincial governments, as well as leading strategic initiatives for bilateral and multilateral organizations, on strategy, policy planning, public-private partnerships, and governance.

As a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, and with multiple reputed accreditations having over 25 years of professional experience he combines his technical expertise as a leading professional with strategic foresight to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that guide clients through complex challenges and strategic improvements.

He has lead advisory projects of the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID, UKAID, AUSAID, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the United Nations, to design and implement robust frameworks for public financial management, institutional capacity building, and sustainable development.

He has played an integral role in shaping KPMG’s commitment to excellence by spearheading advisory engagements while also leading internal initiatives focused on capacity building, and fostering collaboration.
