Geoff is the Head of Construction Sector in our Auckland office and has 15 years’ experience in audit, advisory and commercial roles where he has led a number of audit and non-audit engagements. He has a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on medium-large private businesses and corporates primarily in the infrastructure, construction and technology sectors. More recently Geoff has worked closely with private businesses, in particular those that are managing growth, focussing on establishing business fundamentals or making acquisitions. A great passion of Geoff’s is working in the construction industry. He leads the sector focus for KPMG nationally, drawing upon his significant experience with a range of businesses in the sector. Geoff also contributes widely to construction industry groups. Geoff brings a commercial and pragmatic style to his work and is known for his ability to ask the right questions, provide an independent view point and to challenge assumptions where necessary. Prior to joining KPMG, Geoff gained valuable commercial experience working as a Finance Manager for GlaxoSmithKline in their head office in London.
