Vinnie was appointed KPMG New Zealand’s Pou Ahurea in November 2021. In his role as the firms Māori Cultural Advisor, he leads our people in all things Māori and embedding te Ao Māori world view at the heart of what we do.

As an experienced Māori business relationship manager with a demonstrated ability for helping Māori businesses activate, he helps accelerate the commercialisation of new and innovative ideas. As an experienced cultural advisor, his passion and skill are to weave both the needs and ambitions of the business, with te Ao Māori together striving for true partnership, based on the principles and spirit o Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Vinnie brings to KPMG over 12 years’ experience leading organisations in similar kaupapa. Prior to KPMG, Vinnie held roles at Callahan Innovation and the New Zealand Department of Corrections.
