Paul is a Tax Partner and a member of our National Board. Paul began his career as a tax lawyer with the New Zealand Government after graduating with a Bachelor of Law from Victoria University. Since joining KPMG in 1995, Paul has specialised in working with privately-owned businesses, family enterprises, and entrepreneurs. He also leads our Innovation and Growth team in Auckland, advising clients on a broad range of matters including accessing R&D tax incentives.
Paul is committed to supporting private businesses, which he views as the foundation to New Zealand’s long-term success. He is passionate about helping these businesses grow and achieve their objectives, thereby fuelling New Zealand’s prosperity. Paul’s team delivers systems, processes, and strategic advice designed to improve decision-making and drive greater success for private enterprises, providing a ‘whole of business’ approach.
