Darby joined KPMG in 1997 in the US, and was appointed as an Audit partner in January 2014. She is a CPA and graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Cum Laude. Darby’s career includes client facing auditor, managing the technical department and a number of client secondments. She was a NZ IFRS specialist as part of a team dealing with IFRS conversion, and led the country-wide training for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand members. Darby leads the risk and audit quality team which supports the audit division. She has presented on various topics over the years including Institute of Directors courses.
