Matt is a Partner in the KPMG Auckland office. After starting his career with KPMG in the UK, Matt went on to work for a fast growing technology business. He returned to KPMG and spent three years working in M&A and Corporate Turnaround before initially coming to Auckland on a two year secondment in 2008 and transferring here permanently in 2010. As well as leading audits of listed, private equity backed and family owned businesses, Matt has worked on a number of corporate transactions in New Zealand. His experience covers a range of sectors such as food, drink and consumer goods, retail, energy and infrastructure, and includes time spent on secondment to clients in Senior Finance roles. He has worked extensively across Europe and North America as well as in New Zealand and Australia.
