The Feasibility Study grant scheme provides non-repayable grants to eligible enterprises to engage with a service provider to assess their business ideas, identify necessary resources, and determine the viability of their projects.

      What can you invest in?

With the aim to stimulate research, development, and innovation (R&D&I), the Feasibility Study grant scheme supports investment in these areas, in alignment with Malta's Smart Specialisation Strategy 2021-2027. The application process is structured in two stages:

      1. Stage 1: Submission of a concept note, where the initial idea and objectives are presented.
      2. Stage 2: Full application, including the feasibility study, following a successful concept note evaluation.

Feasibility studies can be submitted for projects in the following sectors:

      • Health and well-being
      • Sustainable use of resources for climate change mitigation and adaptation
      • Smart manufacturing
      • Marine and maritime technology
      • Aviation and aerospace
      • Future digital technologies
