In the lead-up to World Environment Day on 5 June, KPMG in Malta colleagues and their families took part in a tree planting and gardening workshop held at St. Philip’s Gardens in Floriana, in collaboration with ‘Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar’.

The initiative included the planting of a botanical tree and a contribution towards its ongoing maintenance, supporting the preservation and enhancement of this historic public green space.

Participants also engaged in a practical gardening workshop, gaining hands-on experience and planting their own salad garden seeds to take home, encouraging continued engagement with sustainable gardening beyond the event. The workshop also offered simple, practical tips on planting and caring for greenery in Malta’s climate.

The initiative reflects KPMG in Malta’s continued commitment to environmental responsibility and making a positive and lasting difference in the communities in which it operates.
